We built this custom brush guard in-house for this classic military turbo-diesel Humvee (Hummer). We started by taking precise measurements and designing custom frame mounts for the tube bumper. These brackets have adjustment points and allow the bumper to swing forward, providing easy access to the engine bay. We used specialized bend-tech software to design the bumper, guaranteeing accurate and consistent bends. Using the data generated, our in-house tube bender fabricated the brush guard. All tubes were precision notched and fully TIG welded. We also created unique CNC-cut gusset plates to add strength and improve the aesthetic. Custom latches were used to secure the guard in place, completing the design. Following completion, we developed a fixture to produce replica bumpers for other clients.
